Delete your data

This page explains how to delete your data from Astronook: Kundli & Horoscope (the Android app by UX Mate) and from astronook.com. Astronook has no accounts or logins, so almost everything you enter stays on your own device.

Delete data in the app (instant)

Birth details: open the Me tab, tap your profile card, then tap Remove my details. Your name, date, time and place of birth, rashi, lagna and nakshatra are erased from the phone.
Saved Kundli reports: open Tools → Detailed Kundli Report and tap the delete (bin) icon next to each saved report.
Ask Nook chat: tap New chat (the refresh icon) in the Ask tab. Chat history is never saved on our servers.
Everything at once: uninstall the app, or go to Android Settings → Apps → Astronook → Storage → Clear storage. This removes all app data, preferences, saved reports and downloaded language packs.

Request deletion from our servers

Use our contact form with the subject “Delete my data” and include the birth date and time you used, so we can find any cached reading. We delete matching data within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What is deleted and what is kept

Birth details you send for calculations (date, time, city coordinates) are used only to calculate the result and are not stored.
Names are never stored on our servers.
Chat messages are sent to Google's Gemini API to write the reply and are not stored by us.
Cached AI readings (the generated text, keyed by chart data with no name or place) are kept for up to 90 days so identical charts load faster, then deleted automatically.
Server logs and rate-limit counters (IP-based, used to prevent abuse) are kept for up to 30 days.

Advertising data

Ads in the app are served by Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID. You can reset or delete it at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID. Data held by Google is governed by Google's privacy policy.
